General Information

All yard card greetings are a 1-day rental with the option to purchase additional rental days.

Please do not touch or move our signs without prior approval from Queen City Yard Art. If there is an emergency, please send an email to queencityyardart@gmail.com or call us at 704-951-4155. If a display is moved and damages occur, a fee of $25/piece will be charged to your card on file.

Please allow our installers to complete the setup without interruption, as they are working on a tight schedule. Please direct any questions or concerns to the email address or phone number listed above.

If there is a specific area in which you would like the signs installed, please mention it at the time of booking. If no area is specified, the installer will choose the area that they best see fit.

Queen City Yard Art reserves the right to refuse any order for any reason.

Installation Information

Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, installations and pickups will take place between 5:00 and 9:00 AM. During May & June, this window may extend until 11:00 AM. We reserve the right to arrive earlier or later.

Your yard card display may look slightly different from the photos on our website or social media, depending on yard size, name length, and installation conditions.

Sprinklers must be turned off and lawn maintenance must not occur while our signs are in your yard or being installed/picked up. Please schedule any lawn care services before installation or after your event. Cut grass will stain our materials and landscaping equipment can puncture and damage them. Damaged signs may result in a replacement fee of $25/piece or a cleaning fee.

Please water your lawn the day before installation to soften the ground and make it easier to insert the stakes. To test your soil, a screwdriver should easily pierce the soil.

All pets must be secured, and pet waste must be cleaned up prior to installation. It's often dark out, and we can't see where we're stepping or what we're stepping in! Please pick up/remove any animal waste on/near the installation area prior to our arrival.
Cancellation Policy

A refund will be issued for cancellations made in writing at least 7 days before the scheduled installation. Any display cancelled with less than 7 days notice will receive a credit for a future booking date, based on our availability. Please note there is a $5 processing fee to cancel an order. You can reschedule at no charge.

NO refunds or credits will be issued for incorrect addresses (please double-check the address when creating your booking), requests from homeowners or recipients to remove displays, threatening animals, situations where we cannot access the installation area, or conditions that prevent the display from being set up (e.g. hard ground or rocks).

In the event of inclement or hazardous weather, installations may be delayed for safety reasons. Weather-related delays do not qualify for a refund as long as the display can be installed on the scheduled day. If weather conditions prevent us from safely completing the installation that day, you will have the option to reschedule, receive a credit toward a future booking, or receive a full refund.

For everyone's safety, please do NOT allow anyone to play on or around the display. Signs are not built to safely support the weight of a child or adult. Queen City Yard Art is not responsible or liable for any injury due to playing on the display.

DO NOT ATTACH ANYTHING TO THE DISPLAY. Please do NOT tie balloons, streamers, ribbons, or any other additional decorations to the display. The additional weight can damage our signs and may result in a damage fee ($25/piece).

At least one person at the installation address must be aware of the scheduled display. If you are ordering a display to be set up at someone else's home, please make them aware of our rental policies.

We will not enter fenced areas unless an access code is provided or the gate is unlocked.

Solar spotlights are provided as a courtesy and are not included as a guaranteed part of our yard art packages. They are based on availability and weather. Please note that cloudy or rainy weather may prevent the solar lights from receiving enough sunlight to charge properly.

Signs may not be installed during hazardous weather conditions, including storms, heavy rain, lightning, high wind, snow, or ice. A full refund will be issued if this happens or an alternate date will be offered. No refunds will be given if installation is simply delayed due to weather. Please understand that the weather is out of our control.
